7th September: Zak and Lisa agree to let Belle go away with Kirin to the business conference. Belle seeks out Joanie for advice on how to pursue Kirin. Belle is embarrassed when Kirin rejects her advances. Lisa is furious with Joanie for counseling Belle.
8th September: Lisa explains to Joanie that her concerns for Belle stem from the assault she suffered years before. Lisa and Joanie convince Belle not to give Kirin a second thought and focus on being professional. Kirin is surprised when Belle quickly wants to move past the previous day's events.
